Personalized Stroke Care Promoting Speedy Rehabilitation

At Rainbow Outreach and Healthcare we know that there are no standard set of services that will address the needs of every stroke survivor due to the differences in the lasting effects from person to person. Due to this, we carefully tailor our stroke care plans to the individual’s specific needs, abilities and preferences. We will also work closely with the individual’s GP as well as their physical, occupational and/or speech therapist to ensure they receive the specialty care they require.

Our carers are provided with advanced stroke care trainings, allowing families peace of mind in the knowledge that their loved one is receiving all of the care and assistance they may require.

Our care assistants will help with any or all of the following:

Bathing, dressing, grooming and incontinence
Meal preparation in accordance with dietary preferences and feeding
Mobility around the home and in and out of the bed or wheelchair
Exercises to help regain motor functions lost as a result of the stroke
Transportation for doctor, medical and follow-up appointments
Medication reminders and prescription pick-ups
